Raccoons have extraordinarily sensitive front paws - roughly two-thirds of the sensory area of their brain is given over to touch, and they can identify objects by feel alone, frequently without looking at them.
They also learn locks. Early research found raccoons could open complicated latches and still remember how years later, which is why bin lids designed to defeat them keep needing to be redesigned.
