What is a snow leopard thinking?

Wrapped in its own tail like a scarf. Six metres of jump, currently unspent.

The tail is nearly as long as the body and does two jobs. It stores fat, and it goes over the face as a scarf in high-altitude cold - the behaviour people photograph is insulation, not affection.

The other number is the jump. A snow leopard can clear around six metres in a single bound across broken mountain ground, which is what the oversized back legs and that tail as a counterweight are for.
