What is a warthog thinking?
Kneels down to eat, every single time. Has made its peace with how that looks.
The neck is short and the legs are long, so grazing means dropping onto the front knees - which have calloused pads specifically for it. The posture is equipment, not embarrassment.
They also reverse into their burrows. A warthog backs in so it faces the entrance with tusks forward, which is the sensible arrangement when the burrow was dug by an aardvark and something else might want it.
