What is a sparrow thinking?

Moved into the eaves without asking. Brought everyone.

House sparrows are colonial nesters, so one pair in a gap is rarely one pair for long. They favour cavities, and the gap under a roof tile or behind a fascia is a close match for the cliff and building ledges they evolved on.

They also stay. Sparrows reuse a good nest site year after year and are among the most sedentary birds there are, often living out their whole lives within a couple of streets.
